Job summary

Precision Technologies is seeking an SDET to design and implement robust test automation for complex software systems in the US market. You will build UI automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, and develop reusable frameworks following POM, data-driven, and BDD approaches.

Job Title: SDET - Software Development Engineer in Test

Employment Type: W2 / Full-Time

Location: United States (Onsite / Hybrid / Remote - Based on Client Requirement)

Visa: Open to all work-authorized candidates except H1B

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain UI automation suites using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation tools.
• Develop reusable test automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM), data-driven testing, keyword-driven testing, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform API testing and automation using REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI, Playwright API, or equivalent tools.
• Validate backend services, databases, data transformations, and business logic using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Perform performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter, Gatling, k6, or LoadRunner.
• Identify, document, investigate, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or other defect management systems.
• Collaborate with Software Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, improve test coverage, and maintain reliable test execution environments.
• Apply testing best practices to Microservices, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and containerized environments.
