Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a skilled SDET/Automation Engineer in Atlanta to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and backend applications.

You will validate REST/SOAP APIs, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, and participate in Agile ceremonies to drive quality initiatives. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in software testing or automation, strong Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress experience, and proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of experience in software testing, SDET, or test automation engineering.
• Strong experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# programming.
• Experience with API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD processes, and modern testing tools and frameworks.
