Prudentia Sciences is hiring its first dedicated QA Engineer to design and implement automated test suites across UI, API, and data pipelines. You will apply AI-assisted testing tools daily, own CI/CD quality gates, and ensure API-level integrity to catch breaking changes before production.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and ML teams to safeguard data quality, security, and performance while driving testability across the platform in a fast-growing biopharma tech environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience testing modern web applications and designing and building automated test suites.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress) and API testing tools (pytest, REST-assured, PactFlow).
• Experience owning automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) daily in work.
• Experience designing load or performance tests and identifying bottlenecks.
• Comfort reading code and working with engineers to understand system architecture, APIs, and data flows.
• Experience testing data-driven applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and data pipelines.
• Use AI coding tools daily to build and maintain tests and verify outputs.
• Own automated quality gates in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Test at the API layer and catch breaking changes between services.
• Lead load, performance, and reliability testing for scalable platforms.
• Identify, document, and triage defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Validate ML-driven outputs as they move into user-facing views.
• Help verify secure handling of sensitive data in regulated environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, product leads, and domain experts to define acceptance criteria.
• Advocate for a quality-first culture and expand test coverage over time.
