NTT DATA North America is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Atlanta, GA. The role blends manual testing with automation, focusing on .NET Framework/Core apps, with potential expansion into Java testing.

Qualifications

• 4 years of manual and automation testing experience.
• 3 years in .NET Framework and .NET Core applications.
• 1 year of test automation using C# and modern frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Selenium, Playwright).
• 2 years of API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, RestSharp.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Validate application functionality against business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to refine acceptance criteria and prevent defects early in the lifecycle.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple environments.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects, and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
• Contribute to test planning, test data management, and release validation activities.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes for better coverage and efficiency.
