Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain automated and manual tests for autonomous software systems. You will work with software teams to ensure quality, performance, and reliability across lab, vehicle, and field testing environments.

The role supports SDET levels 1–3 with responsibilities scaling by experience. This is a long-term contract with a hybrid or remote work option in the Dallas Metro Area, ASAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
• SDET levels range from 1 to 3 with 1-3, 3-7, or 7+ years experience in software testing/development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for autonomous software systems.
• Collaborate with software teams to define test strategies and plans.
• Create and maintain test cases, documentation, and reporting.
• Execute manual and automated tests across lab, vehicle, and field environments.
• Troubleshoot defects and participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies to provide quality updates.
• Conduct user-acceptance testing as software is ready for release.
