Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to enhance and implement automated test frameworks, collaborating with development, testing, and product teams to enable feature-based testing. The ideal candidate blends hands-on development with managerial experience and will work on robust automated test suites, API testing, and performance testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA engineering delivery experience.
• 4+ years in Agile SDLC/teams with CI/CD.
• Proficient in Java with BDD/TDD and design patterns.
• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs; exposure to React.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, Docker.
• AI integration experience preferred.
• Exposure to banking and/or finance environments preferred.
• Testing: JUnit, Playwright, Protractor, JMeter or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement robust automated test suites.
• Integrate automated test suites with the current build and deployment processes.
• Maintenance of automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture.
• Integration of Automation framework with existing tools (JIRA).
• Create/Manage/Utilize Defect workflows with automated test execution.
• Design and publish meaningful metric to support automation test creation and execution.
• Build and implementation of performance test suites.
• Perform all types of testing – Functional. API, Automation, Performance and Load
