Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join the Quality Assurance team. You will blend hands-on development with leadership, enhancing and implementing automation tests, and collaborating with engineers and product managers to support feature-based testing.

The role covers building robust automated suites, integrating them into CI/CD, maintaining tests, and applying performance testing. Experience with Java, REST APIs, and Agile is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA engineering delivery experience.
• 4+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC/teams ideally with CI/CD.
• Programming experience in Java with focus on BDD and TDD and design patterns, ideally within CI/CD.
• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs and exposure to React front end.
• Agile development approach.
• Technologies: Java, JavaScript, IntelliJ/Eclipse.
• CICD: Maven, Sonar, Git, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker.
• AI Integration experience preferred.

About the Role

iCapital is looking for a Software Developer in Test to work on the iCapital platform. In this role, you’ll bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As a Software Developer in Test (SDET), you’ll work closely with the Development and Testing team. The ideal candidate would be a combination of a hands on developer who has some managerial experience, and who can understand existing automation test frameworks and has an ability to enhance and implement the same and should also be able to work with other engineers and product managers to support feature-based testing.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 depending on level. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
