Job summary

Greenlight, a family technology company, is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test II to build robust QA frameworks and drive automated testing across web, API, and mobile platforms. You will own testing strategies, design scalable automation, and push for early testing within the development lifecycle.

You will work with CI/CD and AI-driven test case generation, contribute to self-healing automation, and collaborate with engineers and product teams to ensure reliable, high-quality

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software development engineering in test
• Experience building mobile and web automation (Appium, Cypress)
• Experience with API automation frameworks (Rest Assured, Kotest)
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based systems or agentic automation
• Experience with self-healing automation for mobile, web and API testing
• Ability to communicate automation plans to development teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in large systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools to integrate test suites

Responsibilities

• Define scope and procedures for quality engineering, automate test scripts using Appium, Kotest, Cypress
• Determine best automation framework to enable developers to own testing features
• Design and build agent-driven test automation frameworks across web, API and mobile
• Develop AI agents for test case generation from specs and user flows
• Implement self-healing automation to improve stability
• Test APIs for resiliency, latency, and performance
• Extend tests to automated build tests and CI/CD integration
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to align testing with customer needs
• Create reusable components distributed as libraries/packages for other apps
• Triage issues with logging and prioritize test coverage across unit/integration/e2e
