Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience as an SDET, QA engineer, or software engineer focused on automated test development.
• Strong C++ proficiency with unit/integration testing and mocking (gMock) in complex logic.
• Strong Python proficiency with integration tests and Pytest in Git-based workflows.
• CI/CD pipeline configuration and management experience.
• Experience testing distributed cloud or hybrid environments.
• Experience with code coverage metrics (gcov/lcov, Bazel coverage).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable test code following standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade test code: architect, write, and maintain clean, performant C++ unit/integration tests and Python integration tests.
• Execute integration and E2E testing with live or staged AWS resources and Kubernetes environments.
• Build test harnesses and mocks using Catch2 and Pytest for deterministic tests.
• Validate C++/Python interop to ensure seamless data transfer between core C++ and Python.
• Integrate with Bazel test targets and GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deterministic test execution.
• Measure and drive code coverage and enforce quality gates.
• Lead root-cause analysis on non-deterministic test failures and collaborate with developers.
