Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to design, develop, and maintain an automated testing framework for charger products and solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in SDET or software engineering, experience with UI testing tools, languages like C# or Java, and proficiency across Linux and Windows, plus strong collaboration with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
• 5+ years of experience in an SDET or Software Engineering role.
• Experience with HTTP, TCP-IP and UDP protocols.
• Proficient with one or more Object Oriented languages such as C# or Java; proficient deploying on Linux and Windows.
• Experience with UI testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, TestComplete or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build an automation framework to test code released to production.
• Develop an Automated Test Framework for Charger Products and Solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering to identify product test case requirements.
• Plan and design Test Plans, implement, and execute phases.
• Create Test Cases and Test Suites aligned to hardware/firmware specs and quality standards.
• Monitor and report automated test coverage to stakeholders.
