Job summary

Alteryx, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to drive testing across UI, API, and AI-driven product workflows. You will design scalable automation and contribute to performance and load testing, collaborating with engineers, product management, and UX in an agile team.

You will leverage Python/JavaScript for automation, frameworks like pytest, Selenium, and Playwright, and work with Docker/Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BE/BTech in CS or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in Software Development Engineer in Test or QA.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as pytest, Selenium, Playwright.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Git and CI/CD (GitLab CI/Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to craft test strategy and cases.
• Design and implement manual and automated tests across levels.
• Build and maintain scalable test frameworks for UI and API tests.
• Develop automation for UI and API tests using Selenium, pytest, Playwright.
• Conduct performance tests to ensure scalability.
