Job summary

System One in Columbia, MD seeks an experienced SDET – AI Test Automation (AWS, Playwright, CloudBees) for a contract role. The candidate will design and maintain automated tests, deploy AI-driven automation in CloudBees pipelines, and integrate AI agents across platforms. Strong DevOps and 5+ years in testing are required, with knowledge of ML and Gen AI concepts.

The role is hybrid (onsite and remote) in Columbia, MD, offering 40 hours weekly and compensation of $62.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proven experience with AI tools for test generation, refactoring, and self-healing.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building and scaling testing agents.
• Knowledge of context engineering for AI-driven testing.
• Knowledge of ML concepts and GEN AI concepts.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications
• Experience with modern testing frameworks beyond Selenium
• Background in machine learning or AI applications
• Experience with microservices and containerized applications
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
