Job summary

Alteryx is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to build and maintain automated tests and test frameworks for Alteryx products, including AI-driven product workflows. 4+ years of SDET/QA experience and strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript are required, with expertise in Playwright, Pytest, and automation of UI/API tests.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience and proficiency with Playwright and Pytest.
• BS/BE/BTech in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years as SDET/QA engineer, focus on software quality and testability.

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies and implement automated tests across the test pyramid.
• Build and maintain UI, API, and performance testing frameworks for product workflows.
• Report regressions and collaborate with engineering and product teams on testability.
• Develop and maintain automation for UI and API tests using Selenium, pytest, and Playwright.
