• Analyze requirements to produce a comprehensive test strategy and detailed test cases.
• Design and implement manual and automated tests at all levels in the test pyramid, including unit, component, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Design, build, and enhance scalable automated test frameworks to support feature testing and AI-driven product workflows.
• Develop and maintain automation for UI and API tests using tools such as Selenium, pytest, and Playwright.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure product scalability.
• Build test reports using reporting tools such as Allure.
• Report regressions to a corresponding dev team.
• Collaborate with engineers, product management, and UX to be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team

Understanding of microservices-based web applications including frontend, backend, and database layersEducation: Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/IS or equivalent experienceExperience developing or enhancing automation frameworks for UI/API/component/unit testsStrong proficiency in Python and JavaScript (both required) for test automationExcellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to work with global and cross-functional teamsExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience: 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test, QA Engineer, or equivalentExperience working on AI products with non-deterministic behavior is a strong plusPractical experience with automation frameworks such as pytest, Selenium, and PlaywrightFamiliarity with Unix/Linux/Mac OS development environments and shell scripting (Bash required)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS required; GCP/Azure nice to have)Passion for delivering high-quality software with a focus on testability, robustness, and performanceExperience with Git (must have) and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI (preferred) or JenkinsStrong understanding of SDLC and Testing Pyramid conceptsExperience with Locust is a plusAbility to write complex SQL queriesPowerShell knowledge is a strong plus (for Windows automation workflows)Experience with developing Ansible playbooks is a plus
