Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the SageMaker HyperPod Data Plane in Santa Clara, CA. You will design, develop, test, and deploy distributed ML systems and collaborate with ML scientists to shape the team's roadmap.

You will own delivery of key system components, drive architecture and best practices, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment focused on scalable AI compute and distributed training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain distributed machine learning systems and large-scale solutions.
• Collaborate with ML scientists and customers to influence roadmap and translate requirements into technical specs.
• Drive system architecture and best practices for a scalable, robust product.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and own delivery of major system components.
• Lead complex projects using industry-standard engineering practices.
