Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an SDE intern to own the software lifecycle—from design to deployment—working on scalable services with meaningful impact on millions of customers. You will collaborate with Amazonians, learn from mentors, and contribute to innovative projects across distributed systems.

Internships are full-time, typically Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with location options across several US cities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM fields
• Expected conferral date between October 2026-September 2029

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment, and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
