Amazon’s Elastic Block Store (EBS) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE II) to design, implement, and operate high-throughput distributed systems powering EC2 and customer workloads.

You will own features end-to-end, improve performance, and collaborate with a world-class engineering team in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed culture, with on-call responsibilities and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop software on modern platforms and drive the roadmap for the next generation of compute instances.
• Impact millions of customers by reducing latency and improving the AWS customer experience.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to deliver features with quality and scale.
