Job summary
Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Denver seeks a Software Development Engineer II to lead architecture and development of data center software that keeps AWS infrastructure running efficiently and securely.
You'll work with Python, Java, Go, Lambda, DynamoDB and CloudFormation, contributing across AWS teams to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions. You will design, develop, test, and deploy new data acquisition and transport services, mentor teammates, and participate in on-call rotations to
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing and launch of new data acquisition and transport services in the data center infrastructure space.
- Collaborate with senior and junior team members to build new features and ensure quality through testing.
- Join the on-call rotation to resolve customer issues in production and drive best practices for a reliable product.
