Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to drive OTA updates for millions of customer terminals across hardware variants. You will collaborate with firmware, satellite networking, and operations to automate processes that keep the constellation ground segment current and healthy.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, embedded software delivery, and fleet management with a strong analytical approach and an ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Have experience with OTA update systems, fleet management platforms, or large-scale device management.
• Have experience with staged/progressive rollout strategies and automated release safety mechanisms.
• Have experience building observability and anomaly detection for device fleets.
• You solve problems with data-backed reasoning and drive processes and tools to support decisions.
