Job summary

Amazon seeks a Software Development Engineer for EC2 Core Platform in Seattle to own end-to-end billing pipelines from pricing data to invoices. You will translate complex customer contracts into scalable, reliable architectures and work across EC2 and AWS Commerce Platform with product, deals, and finance teams.

Requirements include 3+ years of professional software development, 2+ years in design or architecture, 1+ year related experience, experience with C++, Java, or C#, and a Bachelor's

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business deals and customer contracts into technical architectures that are accurate, scalable, and extensible.
• Own end-to-end billing pipeline from pricing data to customer invoice.
• Collaborate with product, deals, and finance teams to ensure the architecture supports business needs.
