Job description

EC2 Private Pricing sits at the heart of how AWS prices and bills its most strategic cloud products — from Savings Plans to Reserved Instances to Capacity Blocks — and we're looking for an engineer who wants to own hard problems end-to-end. You'll translate complex business deals and customer contracts into technical architectures that are accurate, scalable, and extensible, working across EC2 and AWS Commerce Platform to ensure the entire billing pipeline works correctly from pricing data all the way to the customer's invoice. What makes this role different is the combination of novelty and stakes: you'll be solving distributed systems problems in environments that haven't been built before, building systems where a wrong architectural decision has real customer impact, and working side-by-side with product, deals, and finance teams who depend on your technical judgment. If you like owning the full picture — from design to production to operational health — and want to grow in a team where your work directly shapes how AWS customers experience their cloud spend, this is the right place for you.
