Job summary

Amazon's AWS Vulnerability Management (AVM) team in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer to build and scale security services that identify and mitigate risks in cloud environments. You will design, implement, and operate systems across the full SDLC, collaborate with service teams, and drive security improvements at cloud scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 2+ years of security engineering, with hands-on AWS experience (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM).

Responsibilities

• Designing and building services that scale for millions of users and systems.
• Driving new innovation in the Amazon/AWS ecosystem and Think Big.
• Continuously learn different technologies and architectures to ensure correct solutions Java, Python, Big Data, Microservices etc.
