Amazon Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join AWS QuickSight and help grow a world-class, serverless BI platform tightly integrated with AWS data sources.

You will influence architecture, design scalable distributed systems, and contribute across the full software lifecycle with autonomy and high ownership. You will work on agentic AI initiatives, collaborating with product managers, applied scientists and engineers, and mentoring peers to raise the bar on code

Competenze

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference.

Mansioni

• Define the system architecture and technical direction for the BI platform, owning and implementing significant components end to end.
• Design and build complex, scalable distributed systems using AWS Serverless and microservices.
• Drive work across the full software lifecycle, planning, design, implementation, testing, operations.
• Tackle technical problems, balance near-term delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Document and promote engineering best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, applied scientists, and engineers to translate customer needs into capabilities.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews, multiplying team impact.
