Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Ads AI Core Infra in Seattle to help build highly available, scalable microservices for a central data lake handling petabytes of ads data. This role focuses on delivering reliable software for campaigns, ad-serving, billing, and analytics across AWS.

You will design, code and deploy Java-based microservices on AWS, drive low-latency solutions, and collaborate with product managers and data teams to enable fast, informed decision making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, code and deploy components and micro-services for the core job management pipeline.
• Engage with Product & Program Managers to understand requirements and brainstorm solutions.
• Ensure testability, maintainability and low operational footprint for your code.
• Participate in operational responsibilities with your team.
• Innovate on AWS technology to improve latency and reduce costs.
