Job summary

EY is seeking a Technology Service Delivery Senior based in our US Service Delivery Center. You will lead design, build/configuration, testing, delivery and support of technology solutions for client engagements, working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You’ll translate requirements into secure services, drive architecture decisions, own assigned workstreams from design through production support, and ensure code quality and automation standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise server-side applications, APIs, and integrations using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience building microservices architectures and RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, SQL and ORMs (JPA/Hibernate).
• Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure.

The opportunity

As a Technology Service Delivery Senior, you'll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you'll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/ configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you'll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

The goal is to help clients solve complex business problems by delivering robust enterprise solutions. Skills And Attributes For Success

• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience developing enterprise server‑side applications, APIs, and integrations using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience building microservices architectures and RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and data access frameworks such as JPA or Hibernate, including query performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of messaging and event streaming platforms such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
• Working knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
