Job summary

EY is seeking a Technology Service Delivery Senior to join our US-based Service Delivery Center. You will design, build/configure, test, analyze, deliver and support technology solutions within a fast-paced project team.

You will translate requirements into secure services, own workstreams end-to-end, and uphold high standards for code quality, security, testing, and automation. This role emphasizes collaboration with advisory professionals and client teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise server-side apps, APIs, and integrations with Java/Spring.
• Experience with microservices, REST and SOAP web services.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience; performance tuning.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Ability to own and manage workstreams independently.

The opportunity

As a Technology Service Delivery Senior, you'll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you'll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/ configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you'll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

The goal is to help clients solve complex business problems by delivering robust enterprise solutions. You will translate requirements into secure services, integrate new interfaces with existing systems, and own assigned workstreams independently from design through production support, while applying strong code quality, security, testing, and automation standards.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience developing enterprise server‑side applications, APIs, and integrations using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience building microservices architectures and RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and data access frameworks such as JPA or Hibernate, including query performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of messaging and event streaming platforms such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
• Working knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
