Job summary

Resourcesys Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Specialist with strong Banking/Financial Services background. Wealth Management experience is highly preferred.

The role demands facilitation of Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams, and resolving impediments across multiple Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will lead Agile transformation in Wealth/Investment management environments, collaborate with Product Owners, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 12-17 years of IT experience.
• Strong Banking / Financial Services background - Mandatory.
• Wealth Management experience - Highly Preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives & Backlog Refinement.
• Strong Agile coaching and servant-leadership skills.
• Experience removing impediments, blockers, risks & dependencies.
• Experience working with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Technology, QA & Architecture teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile metrics, velocity, capacity and delivery performance.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and high-performing Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies across multiple teams and ensure adherence to Agile practices.
• Coach teams on servant leadership, collaboration and high performance.
• Remove impediments and manage blockers, risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to align backlog and delivery goals.
• Support delivery in Capital Markets / Asset Management contexts if needed.

We are specifically looking for a true Scrum Master / Agile Specialist, not a traditional Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading Agile/Scrum teams within Banking or Financial Services, preferably in Wealth Management / Investment Management environments.

• CSM / PSM / SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent certification
• Jira / Confluence / Rally experience
• Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams or large-scale Agile environments
• Capital Markets / Asset Management experience is a plus
