Job summary

Centraprise is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with development and testing exposure to guide agile teams onsite in Charlotte, NC and Jacksonville, FL. The role requires strong facilitation, cross-functional coordination, and deep understanding of SDLC in a fast-paced environment.

You will own Scrum ceremonies, manage risks, dependencies, and metrics, and collaborate with engineers, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable software releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as Scrum Master.
• Experience in development and testing environments.
• Onsite work in Charlotte, NC and Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile processes.
• Work with Software Engineers, Tech Leads, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
• Understand SDLC from requirements to production support.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers and raise them proactively.
• Coordinate development, QA, UAT, release, and production activities.
• Track Agile metrics like velocity, burndown, and cycle time.
• Lead sprint planning and align with cross-team backlogs.
• Support continuous integration and automated testing practices.

Job Summary

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies

Work closely with Software Engineers, Tech Leads, Architects, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business Analysts

Understand the complete SDLC from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Facilitate technical discussions and help teams identify dependencies, risks, and technical blockers.

Understand application architecture, APIs, microservices, databases, integrations, and cloud environments at a working level.

Coordinate development, QA, UAT, release, and production activities.

Ensure technical debt, refactoring, defects, security requirements, and infrastructure work are appropriately represented in the backlog.

Support teams in adopting engineering best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.

Sprint & Release Management Coordinate sprint planning and track progress against sprint commitments.

Monitor velocity, capacity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, throughput, and other Agile metrics.

Identify schedule risks and communicate them proactively.

Manage cross-team dependencies and coordinate with other Scrum Masters and technical teams.

Support release planning and deployment readiness.

Track risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and action items.
