Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Scrum Master with a strong data analytics background to turn large volumes of project data into actionable insights that accelerate delivery and improve quality. You will design, configure, and maintain Jira structures to surface real-time metrics and build automated Excel reports for resource utilization and risk analysis.

In this role, you will lead Scrum ceremonies, coach the team on Agile principles, and liaise between the Scrum team and project management

Qualifications

• Experience leading Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams.
• Proficient in Jira Structures and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel reporting and data visualization.
• Ability to translate metrics into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach the team on Scrum principles and foster continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain Jira dashboards to surface real-time performance metrics.

A Scrum Master with a strong dataanalytics background will prioritize turning large volumes of project data into clear, actionable insights that accelerate delivery and improve quality. Core responsibilities include designing, configuring, and maintaining Jira Structures to surface realtime performance metrics; building and automating sophisticated Excel reports using visuals such as pivot tables for resource utilization, risk registers, and variance analysis; analyzing extensive Jira and IMS data to produce concise, datarich status reports, forecasts, and executive summaries that translate technical metrics into strategic business recommendations; and developing automated monitoring mechanisms, to flag schedule slippage, resource constraints, and quality deviations for timely intervention. In addition, the role involves leading daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while coaching the team on Scrum principles; acting as the primary liaison between the Scrum team and project management; and continuously identifying opportunities to streamline Scrum and reporting processes using analytics, thereby increasing productivity and transparency.
