Job summary

VDOT is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the Tolling (E-ZPASS) delivery team by facilitating Agile ceremonies, maintaining alignment, and ensuring transparent progress, risks, and priorities. The role combines facilitation with hands-on delivery operations, including DevOps work item creation and backlog management in Azure DevOps.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of Scrum Master experience, strong Agile knowledge, and CSM certification (PMP preferred).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile values, Scrum frameworks, and ceremonies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain backlog and dashboards, track velocity and burndown.
• Identify blockers, coordinate dependencies, and drive process improvements.
• Report project status, risks, and action items to stakeholders.
