Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced Scrum Master to support VDOT's Tolling delivery team in facilitating Agile ceremonies, tracking progress, and maintaining transparency across priorities and risks. The role combines facilitation with hands-on delivery operations and cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years as a Scrum Master, strong Agile and Scrum knowledge, Azure DevOps proficiency, and CS M certification is required, with PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile development teams.

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile work management tools.
• Experience with backlog management, work item creation, and sprint tracking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain team alignment with Agile values, principles, and delivery objectives.

• Create, update, and refine Azure DevOps cards and supporting documentation.
• Ensure accurate tracking of tasks, priorities, and delivery progress.
• Monitor and report Agile delivery metrics, including velocity and burndown.
• Track project status, risks, dependencies, blockers, and action items.
• Maintain accurate and timely project reports and dashboards.
• Ensure transparency and visibility into team progress.
• Document meeting discussions, decisions, action items, and project updates.

• Collaborate regularly with the Development Manager to support project execution.
• Perform initial investigation and analysis before escalating issues.

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support VDOT's Tolling (E-ZPASS) delivery team by facilitating Agile ceremonies, maintaining team alignment, and ensuring transparency in project progress, risks, and priorities.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and Azure DevOps, along with experience in backlog management, delivery reporting, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.

This role combines Agile facilitation with hands-on delivery operations, including DevOps work item creation, tracking project metrics, identifying blockers, and supporting continuous process improvement. The Scrum Master will work closely with the Development Manager to ensure smooth project execution and effective team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
