Job summary

Heitmeyer Consulting in Tulsa, OK is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to set up a new Scrum team, facilitate sprint ceremonies, and drive Agile delivery for a banking partner.

You will resolve conflicts, manage dependencies and impediments, and communicate with executives and cross-functional teams to deliver business value and transparency.

Experience with data transformation, fraud initiatives, and Jira reporting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Scrum Master experience leading enterprise tech teams.
• Strong Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective).
• Coach a newly formed Agile team focused on Fraud Data Transformation.
• Manage sprint execution, capacity, velocity, and backlog refinement.
• Identify and resolve dependencies, risks, and impediments.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and tech teams to deliver value.
• Provide status updates and executive communications.
• Promote Agile best practices and high-performing team culture.

Heitmeyer Consulting has a banking partner who is seeking an experienced Scrum Master able to set up a new scrum team, build liaison and collaboration within the team, and facilitate sprint ceremonies. The role involves conflict resolution, dependency and impediment management, stakeholder management, executive communication, and prioritizing competing demands. Mandatory experience includes Agile delivery with scrum/kban, backlog management, velocity and capacity planning, propresense Jira skills, and knowledge of data/fraud initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience leading enterprise technology teams.
• Strong expertise in Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience building or leading newly formed Scrum teams.
• Proven stakeholder management, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience managing dependencies, risks, impediments, and escalations.
• Proficiency with Jira, including backlog management and Agile reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives and cross‑functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Banking, financial services, or fintech industry experience.
• Fraud, financial crimes, or risk management program experience.
• Data transformation, data migration, or data modernization project experience.
• Instant Payments, RTP, or FedNow experience.
• Experience working in large‑scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
• SAFe Agile framework experience.
• Confluence or other Agile collaboration tool experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners, business leaders, and technology teams to prioritize work and deliver business value.
• Provide clear status updates, risk escalation, and executive‑level communications.
• Drive Agile best practices and foster a collaborative, high‑performing team environment.
