Job summary

Veriipro is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery in Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, mentor teams on Agile principles, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery for cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for championing Scrum practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling high-performing teams through effective collaboration between business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Serve as a servant leader, removing impediments and enabling the team to achieve sprint goals
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
• Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined, prioritized, and groomed backlog
• Track and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, burndown/burnup charts, sprint health) to stakeholders
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; proactively manage and elevate as needed
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through actionable retrospective outcomes
• Collaborate with multiple teams in a scaled Agile environment to ensure alignment and delivery
• Support release planning and cross-team coordination
• Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards, particularly in regulated (BFSI) environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban; SAFe is a plus)
• Hands‑on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with distributed (onshore/offshore) teams
• Strong problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and decision‑making abilities
• Experience in BFSI or regulated domains preferred

Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Experience in BFSI or enterprise-scale Agile environments preferred
