Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Scrum Master with AI to join our onsite team in St. Louis. The role focuses on facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching teams, and collaborating with Product Owners to refine backlogs and deliver value.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years in Scrum Master or related Agile delivery roles and a passion for continuous improvement. You will help teams remove impediments, establish velocity, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience 2-4 years in a Scrum Master, Project Management, Product Management, Product Engineering, or related Agile delivery role.
• Serve as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams.
• Facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies and events.
• Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and acceptance criteria.

• Support story decomposition, estimation, and planning activities.

• Promote Agile values, principles, and continuous improvement.
• Generate draft user stories and acceptance criteria for review.
• Produce standup, sprint review, and retrospective summaries.
• Identify aging blockers, stale Jira items, and Sprint spillover risks.
• Create concise stakeholder updates and status reports.
• Analyze retrospective themes and recommend improvement opportunities.

The Scrum Master supports one or more Agile teams by facilitating Sprint and Program Increment (PI) activities, enabling Agile best practices, and helping teams continuously improve. They partner with Product Owners and team members to prioritize work, deliver value, and remove impediments. Scrum Masters help teams become increasingly self-managing while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning. Experience 2-4 years in a Scrum Master, Project Management, Product Management, Product Engineering, or related Agile delivery role.
