Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate contract opportunity for a Scrum Master in Philadelphia, PA. This onsite role offers a 12+ month horizon with pay range $55/hr–$62/hr and benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid sick leave.

The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader for scrum teams, coach agile practices, and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-value increments.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in a true Agile Scrum environment.
• Strong coaching of team members in agile practices, self-organization, and cross-functionality.
• Ability to facilitate Scrum events and remove impediments to progress.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Certification such as CSM, PSM I, or SASM is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servant leader for scrum teams accountable for team effectiveness.

• Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Sprint Review).
• Remove impediments to the team’s progress and improve transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Servant leader for scrum teams accountable for team's effectiveness. Must have previous experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in a true Agile Scrum environment. Responsibilities include:
• Coaching team members in agile best practices, self-organization, and cross-functionality
• Helping team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done
• Helping remove impediments to team's progress
• Ensuring all Scrum events occur and are engaging and productive (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Sprint Review)
• Working with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams
• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
• Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• CSM, PSM I, SASM, or other Scrum Master certification strongly preferred

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Agile, SDLC, Client, .Net , C# , BDD, Cucumber, Node JS, MS Office, Confluence, Rally.
• Coaching tech teams to use Scrum & Kanban to inspect their workflows.
