Job summary

A leading software delivery company seeks an experienced Scrum Master in Monroe, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience guiding software teams through Agile methodologies, facilitating processes, and promoting team collaboration. Strong communication skills and knowledge of various Agile approaches are essential. This role involves working with hybrid teams and requires a deep understanding of Scrum principles.

Job description

• Minimum three years experience working as the Scrum Master of a software delivery team
• Working knowledge of the Agile Manifesto and Principles
• Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
• Experience working with hybrid agile teams that interface with waterfall applications or teams
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situation awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Experience working with software delivery teams/programs supporting 3-5+ applications/systems
• The ability to distinguish between what "is Scrum" what is "not Scrum"
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills

Additional Experience Desired:

• eCommerce/Portal, Telecom and or Network experience is beneficial
• Knowledge of other agile approaches: XP, Kanban, FDD, etc.
• Knowledge and/or experience with successful agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
• Previous experience as a team lead
• Ability to engage in very technical discussions
