Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. in Miami, FL seeks a Scrum Master to lead agile delivery for multiple software projects. Immediate start available. You will manage iteration scopes, facilitate ceremonies, and ensure alignment between technical teams and stakeholders.

The role requires coaching business users in agile roles, removing impediments, and delivering sprint artefacts while communicating progress and releases according to business priorities.

Qualifications

• Identify the scope of work for each iteration from the Product backlog.
• Run all standard Agile ceremonies for multiple Agile projects.
• Ensure engagement between architectural/technical specialists and stakeholders.
• Produce sprint/backlogs and related artefacts.
• Report velocity, burndown and progress to stakeholders.
• Coach business users in agile roles (e.g., Product Owner, Scrum Master).
• Remove impediments to team delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify iteration scope from product backlog.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies for multiple projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and stakeholders.
• Maintain and communicate sprint/backlog artefacts.
• Monitor and report team velocity and progress.
• Coach product owners and other stakeholders in agile practices.

Job description

Location : Miami, FL
Notice : Immediate

The provision of agile delivery services in the form of Iteration Management (Scrum) capabilities focussing on best practice agile processes for the software delivery teams. This includes:

Identifying the scope of work for each iteration from the Product backlog.

Running all standard Agile ceremonies for multiple Agile projects, i.e. retrospective, grooming, stand-ups etc.

Ensuring effective engagement and partnership between architectural and technical specialists across key internal and external delivery teams and stakeholder groups

Production of typical agile artefacts: sprint/product backlogs.

Reporting and accelerating team velocity, burndown etc.

Coaching of business users in agile roles and responsibilities i.e. Product Owner, Scrum Master

Removal of impediments to team success

Liaise closely with stakeholders to determine and communicate planned releases according to the Customer’s business rules for prioritisation and scheduling of Connect application releases.

Mandatory to have Scrum Master certification
