Job summary

Zion Cloud Solutions is seeking a hands-on Scrum Master to lead an Agile software delivery team on a long-term, remote engagement based in Chicago. You will facilitate ceremonies, coach on Scrum, remove impediments, and partner with the Product Owner to keep the backlog healthy and prioritized.

You will track sprint metrics, communicate status to leadership and stakeholders, and be the primary contact for the team. A CS M and 5+ years of Scrum Master experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent (required).
• 5+ years as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software teams in a technical environment.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Agile delivery tooling (Azure DevOps preferred) for backlog, sprint, and velocity tracking.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives), keeping them focused, inclusive, and productive.
• Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles and cultivate a habit of continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments that slow the team down, escalating quickly when needed.

• Track and communicate sprint progress, velocity, and delivery metrics using Agile tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Keep both leadership and the team continuously informed on status, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
• Represent the team to stakeholders and act as its primary point of contact.
