The University of Kansas Health System in Great Bend is seeking a Scrub Technician at Great Bend Hospital. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure and anticipates the surgeon’s needs to ensure quality patient care.
Qualified candidates should have completion of a scrub technician program, BLS/CPR, and CST, LPN or EMT licensure or equivalent scrub experience in

The Surgical Technologist - GB, under the direction of the Registered Nurse and the Nurse Manager, handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. He/she understands the surgical procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the surgical procedure and is maintains constant vigilance of the sterile field.
