Job summary

Hannibal Regional Healthcare System, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in perioperative care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

The role requires accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to respond quickly to intraoperative needs. Qualified candidates hold a Surgical Technologist certificate, an associate degree in surgical technology, or CST certification, remain current with BLS, and be available for on-call shifts with specified response times for General OR and CVOR

SPECIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licensure, Certification, Registration)

• Surgical Technologists Certificate, Associates Degree in Surgical Technology, or Certified Surgical Technologist required
• Successful implementation of perioperative nursing knowledge and clinical skills
• Maintains BLS
• On-call required; General OR- 30 minute response time; CVOR - 45 minute response time
• Communicates and works effectively with people
