Job summary

Copeland's Natchitoches facility is seeking Team Member for Scroll Machinery Nights. You will work the night shift (3:50 PM–2:30 AM) operating CNC machines to fabricate metallic parts and support production in a cross-functional environment.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, can lift 40 lbs, and can stand for extended periods. A background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Pass pre-employment background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen.
• Basic math skills including decimals and percentages; basic math test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate metallic parts.
• Operates machinery in the assigned area.
• Work cross-functionally between machines and areas.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting production problems.
• Initiate and/or support process improvements and document them.
• Train other team members in assigned operations as needed.

TEAM MEMBER-SCROLL MACHINERY NIGHTS *Pay Rate $19.92 per Hour*

Night Shift: 3:50 PM- 2:30 AM

Based in our Natchitoches, LA location you will work in our Scroll Machinery department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metallic parts.
• Operates machinery/process in assigned area.
• Work cross functionally between machines and areas.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assists in troubleshooting production problems.
• Initiates and/or support process improvements and corresponding documentation.
• Trains other team members in assigned operations as needed, working in a team environment.
• Follow Work Instructions for each step of the process to meet acceptable production standards during and after training completed.
• Maintain hourly/daily activity records supporting quality production.
• Assure compliance to all safety, environmental and health standards, procedures, and practices
• Other duties, as directed.

*Guaranteed wage progression every 3 months, for the first two years! *

Mathematical Skills:

Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate simple percentages. Be able to add and subtract decimal values. Basic Math test will be required.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull parts or containers frequently.

Alliance Compressors LLC develops, manufactures, and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space.
