Requirements

This position requires a mature, responsible, and proactive individual with the abilities to multitask under stressful situations, legible handwriting and works well in a professional, fast-paced setting. High school diploma or equivalency required. Vocational training preferred. The ideal individual will have Medical Terminology, medical chart documentation, anatomy, medications and medical records.

Summary

Works one to one with the provider to document the history, physical exam, and the differential diagnoses for each patient that the provider sees. Gathers patient insurance information and prepares billing information for the patients including the coding and posting payments.
