Fort HealthCare is seeking a full-time Scribe for the Orthopedic Associates Clinic in Fort Atkinson, WI. The role supports physicians by real-time transcription during exams, enabling efficient patient care and accurate medical records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, transcription experience, and preferably medical terminology knowledge, with BLS/Heartsaver certification. Fort HealthCare offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

To transcribe, in real time, dictated medical legal documents for inclusion in the patient healthcare record. This position allows the physician to utilize the time spent with their patient in an efficient manner.

Requirements of this position include:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical terminology preferred
• One year of transcription experience preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally, orally and in writing, in person and telephonically with co-workers, physicians, patients, and patient’s families; must interact well with co-workers
• BLS or Heartsaver Certification required
• Certified transcriptionist preferred
