Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Screenwriting I on our Phoenix campus. In this role you will lead lectures, guide discussions, and mentor students as they develop storytelling craft for the screen.

Courses are taught in person at the traditional campus for Spring 2027. The successful candidate will hold MFA/MA or related terminal degree with Screenwriting coursework and have at least two years of university instruction or be approved by the Dean.

Qualifications

• Minimum: MFA/MA or related terminal degree with Screenwriting coursework.
• 2+ years of university instruction or approval by the Dean.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
