Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Screening Technician in West Palm Beach, FL. The role supports government locations by screening visitors, monitoring access, and delivering professional customer service.

You will work full-time, with a set early morning schedule, using technology and established procedures to identify security concerns and ensure a safe environment for staff and the public.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service while performing screening procedures in a government location.
• Report prohibited items, suspicions, and policy violations per procedures.
• Verify ID and manage visitor records to control access.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public while carrying out screening procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings using screening equipment and report suspicious items or violations.
• Control access by verifying identification and processing visitors; maintain records.
• Respond to incidents following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and entry points to deter unauthorized activity.
