Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Technology Operator in North Andover, MA. You will screen visitors and belongings, manage access points, and support site protocols to create a welcoming, secure environment.

Responsibilities include operating screening equipment, responding to incidents, and performing regular patrols while delivering professional service. Candidates should have a HS diploma and relevant background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries according to access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to entry points.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and report unusual conditions.

Skills

Customer service experience

Comfortable using a computer or tablet
