Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading North American security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Radnor, PA. Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by welcoming individuals, explaining screening procedures, and directing visitors, patients, staff, and/or students as appropriate.
• Conduct screening of individuals and permitted belongings in accordance with site-specific policies and applicable procedures, reporting prohibited items or concerns to designated personnel.
• Maintain awareness of access points and visitor flow to help deter unauthorized entry and support a professional, orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
