Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking an experienced radiologic technologist to perform screening mammography and related duties in a full-time day shift. The role requires ARRt-R mammography certification, Illinois radiology license, and CPR/BLS credentials. You will participate in quality control and regulatory data collection.

Responsibilities include patient screening, equipment setup, radiograph processing, and adherence to safety guidelines in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Registered radiographer (ARRT-R) in Radiography and Mammography in good standing or registry eligible required.
• Active license in radiology from the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety required.
• Maintains BLS CPR Certification.
• Maintains continuing experience of 200 mammograms every 24 months.
• Completed 15 hours of specialized mammography training every 36 months.
• Satisfactorily completed mammography orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening mammography procedures on patients of all ages, according to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.
• Determines proper equipment settings for each procedure, uses the proper equipment and cares for the equipment correctly.
• Understands processing, the equipment and all the requirements of a finished radiograph.
• Follows Radiation Safety Guidelines.

• Performs other related work as required or requested.
