Job summary

Eisenhower Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to produce high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography films and DEXA exams. You will educate patients about procedures and accurately document procedures performed and codes.

Requirements include a JRCERT-approved program graduation, ARRT (R) certification and CRT license for Radiography and Mammography, and BLS. Preference given to those with mammography screening experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiology (R) certification and CRT license for Radiography and Mammography.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Preferred: Mammography screening experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies; reports violations.
• Interacts with patients to provide a Five Star experience, explaining procedures and equipment.
• Escorts patient from sub-wait area to procedure room.
• Explains procedure to patient prior to beginning exam.
• Obtains medical history required before procedure.
• Explains film review and obtains patient film release signature as appropriate.
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
• Completes billing and documentation in EHR and PACS.
• Performs bone density screening as assigned.
• Maintains cleanliness of radiology equipment and rooms.
• Maintains MQSA and state regulatory knowledge.
• Follows department timekeeping procedures.
• Works at main campus and satellite facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
