Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Imaging team. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, assist radiologists with procedures, and ensure high-quality images while upholding regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative breast imaging environment, with day shifts and opportunities to contribute to women's health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Additional coursework in breast imaging preferred.
• 2-3 years of mammography experience preferred.
• ARRT and ARRT (M) certification required; BLS certification required; knowledge of MQSA and ACR standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms independently.
• Assist radiologists with breast biopsies and other breast imaging procedures.
• Ensure optimal image quality while maintaining regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging experience.
